If you get the same problem, the hardware may be defective and require repair. So I personally wouldn't worry about it if it works still.

hsb2 It is usually a good idea to unplug the USB cable also. Please contact our Tech Support Dept at techsupport hauppauge. Recycle the power to it by unplugging the unit from the power cable for a few seconds then re-plugging it. This error message can indicate a problem with the Driver installation or a hardware malfunction. The pvr2 usb2 is a newer version, I believe they use the same driver.

Is it supposed to light-up? A Pentium II Mhz minimum is required.

If it is, unplug the power from the unit and restart the computer. This file is larger than the individual pieces, but should be easier to install since it is in one file. Is this installed and does it function properly?
